Would be good to be able to stop all schedules from running so that if you want to halt the system (upgrade, urgent service window) you can stop all schedules from running rather than having to go through them all one by one stopping them.  Allow them to end gracefully and then be able to restart them all rather than having to start them individually as well.

Hello Robyn,

On reviewing your idea, we had some questions about whether what you're asking for would actually be provided by another, higher voted idea that we've already reviewed.

The idea that we've already reviewed is located here:

In order to achieve this idea we've discussed the idea of allowing users to put their servers into a "Maintenance Mode" so that essential maintenance can be performed. In order to achieve this, a server would need to accept a command that indicated that anything currently running (i.e. schedules) would need to be stopped and resource connections dropped at the next appropriate point.

Our question is, would this approach also suit you or are you wanting a way to explicitly stop/start all schedules in a way that would leave all other server functions (resource connections, data gateways processes, etc.) operational?

Thanks,
Rob
