All Credentials Locked and Unable to Reset Admin Password

ConnorSimpson

The developers' credentials stopped working around 3:15pm CST today. We looked in the database to find that the license had been changed around this time, as well.

When attempting to log in to the admin account, we get the following error: "Login failed. The username or password supplied were not valid. Please try again". However, we have used this password successfully in the past. The admin password expires today, but the expired password is not accepted, which means we cannot set a new admin password.

How can we circumvent these issues to reconnect on our clients?

Hi Connor,

Please contact support@blueprism.com for details on how to request the relevant admin password reset scripts.
We have several scripts which you can use to reset the password for the 'Admin' account. The script command is specific to the version of Blue Prism you are using.

So, please provide what version Blue Prism you use when you contact customer support team.

Hi Connor,

To Reset Admin Password, use following steps,

1. Please use the SQL Query to set the password in your BluePrism Database
2. Open the Users table in BluePrism Database and change the password Expiry Date
3. Password Reset query should be in Password Table of your BluePrism Database.

You can access the Database through SQL Server Management Studio.

If you still need an query please contact BluePrism support team, they will provide the query.

Thanks,
Dineshbabu Subramani.
