Hi all, we are excited to announce that UX Builder 23 was recently released and there are a few exciting enhancements we’d like to highlight for you.
Dynamic Forms Migration Utility
The new migration utility in UX Builder version 23, allows clients to migrate dynamic forms to UX Builder. Designers can view the status of migrated and pending forms, refresh migration status in real time, and access the utility based on resource permissions. The migration process includes data such as radio button and dropdown values, but excludes multi-section options, custom code, and certain CSS elements.
Localization Features
The implementation of localization for forms and apps enables dynamic rendering of currency symbols, decimal points, and thousand separators based on the end user's browser language. Designers can override locale settings and configure a list of selectable locales when user opens the app in a browser set to a language that is unsupported or unidentified. A standard configuration in the form of a JSON file is deployed, which clients can edit as needed.
Templatization
The new templatization feature allows clients to create reusable templates for apps and forms. Designers can generate templates from existing projects or create new ones, manage them via a dedicated homepage tab, and use published templates to accelerate new app or form creation. Templates must be published before use.
Enhanced Tab and Styling Options
Version 23 extends tab functionality to include conditional display and custom styling options. Read-only properties and improved global style options for input controls and tables have been added. These enhancements aim to improve user experience and accessibility.
