i am interest in what everyone is using when it comes with OCR technology. if you are using an OCR technology outside of the one supplied in Blue Prism I am interested to know what you are using and how you feel about it .... we are researching in acquiring a better OCR technology and would like to know which one's to investigate

We're on the same journey too. What works for using the embedded capability of Adobe Pro to read invoices and vouchers. Using BP we open Adobe and apply OCR to extract the information that we need. This works 100% if image is clear. But if it's blurry (like a fax) the accuracy decreases drastically. The OCR technology is still evolving. The vendor out there that promises a bullet proof solution are only able to do so if the document is either structured or if you tag that document as part of the scanning process. The real OCR solution is the one that incorporates Artificial Intelligence to ""teach"" the tool on how to recognize unstructured data.
