Automating Progress 4GL - What App Modeler set up should I use?

​Hi,

Have you automated a Progress 4GL application? If so, what Application Modeler did you use to be able to interact with elements of class 'probrowser' or 'proframe' ?

Win32 spy mode can interact with 90% of the elements of the application that I'm trying to automate, but with probrowsers, even though they look like regular lists, I haven't been able to select an item or read the content as a table. I tried with AA and UIA too without success.

I can always use Surface Automation, but I'm hoping to find another method.

Hi Melissa - sorry for the late reply. Sometimes you have to use several methods to spy the elements of an app. I haven't used Progress 4GL nor I'm familiar with the app, but see if you can send keys to select the values from the table. See if there is something in common that could be used with Progress 4GL.
