Batch stuck in Waiting for Class Training

FredericTaes1

Hi,

I'm trying to test the classification capabilities of Decipher.
I prepared a batch of 53 documents that were sent to Decipher (as a training batch). After the OCR step, the batch enters the status "Waiting for Class Training". However, it has been in this state for more than an hour now, and I see no progress being made.
Is it a matter of having even more patience, or are there certain steps to be taken to actually start the classification training ?

Hi Shweta,

There's currently no standard way to get that information. Though I would guess the different field names may help indicate the document type.

Alternatively, you can create a new field in the DFD, uncheck the "assignable" flag, check the "hidden" flag and set the default value as the document type name. This will create a new fields to be exported with every document, but users will not see it (hidden) and Decipher will not try to assign it to a region.

Or if you have the access and skills required, it would be possible using SQL commands. But we do not generally recommend using SQL where the database performance could be impacted.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the guidance, It works the way you suggested.
Also can you confirm, if the decipher idp works for the German language documents data extraction.

Thanks

Hi Shweta,

Yes, German is one of the supported languages in Decipher. Each Batch Type can support 2 languages, or you can specify the language in the Document Type which will override the Batch Type language. E.g. If the Document Type language is German and Batch Type is set to English, Decipher will default to using German for a document using that Document Type after classification.

Here's an excerpt from our online FAQ showing all 26 supported languages for reference:
