Hi Jagadish.

You bring up good points that one should consider for pretty much any upgrade. However, I can tell you that the actual product upgrade is quite straightforward and easy.

There are no destructive changes to the database so all of your training data, DFDs, etc convert easily. Testing and planning are a given, but I have not seen any great difficulties in the migration between the two versions.
