Hi Team,
Need help on any industry data that is available across blueprism projects towards utilisation of Blueprism licenses. To elaborate what are the number of blueprism licenses needed to support n number of robots or processes.
Any lead or start in this will really help

Hi Arindam.
I'm unaware of any statistics, hopefully others will have something on that, but to answer your question succinctly, a Blue Prism license is needed any time a process (or web service VBO) executes.
If you have 10 processes and they run concurrently, you will need 10 licenses. Alternatively, if those 10 processes run one at a time, you will only need 1 license. Things like SLAs and throughput need to be considered when determining how many digital workers (licenses) are required to get the work done.

Hi Arindam,
Other customers may be able to share their individual insights into how many Blue Prism licenses they use, how many BOTs/Processes they support, and for which purposes here on the Community/in this thread. However, for your question here I would primarily recommend you reach out to our Sales team who could provide the higher-level industry data you're requesting. You can reach out to them on our 'Contact' page here: https://www.blueprism.com/contact/

Hello, @ArindamBasu
well, the question is not properly stated so answer will be a bit lengthy.
At this moment I would ask - how I know how many hours my process/robot will run. Well, you need to automate the process first then run several items, measure the time it takes to process the item end to end and then calculate based on expected volumes per day. if you get this then you should be able to ESTIMATE how many licenses (sessions) you will need to purchase to cover this particular process with this daily volume.
I hope that I helped you at least to grasp the idea.
Regards
Zdenek

Also, worth mentioning that Blue Prism provides a trial learning edition if you want to get an idea of how the tool works and how many licenses you may potentially need.
