No connection to Resource PC suggests an issue with the network or the automate.exe process - the control room client is unable to connect to your remote resoure to provide it with a stop command or it is not getting a message returned saying the stop has been actioned. Your starting point should be some basic network and resourcepc problem solving - can you telnet/http to the resoure from your client pc? Have you checked the Windows Event Logs on the resourecpc for any errors?
