I don't think I have ever come across any option to set run mode of a session. The line in the first para answers your question-- The run mode of the session is determined by the most restrictive setting......

I think the word "set" is causing confusion here

Yeah. Even I thought so.

But not sure how blue prism is deciding session run mode when session is created. Maybe when the session is created in blue prism it is internally deciding it on the basis of objects being used in that process. Not sure but this is what I can think of when they say Run Mode of Session.

Hi Tejaskumar,

My understanding is that the session run mode is inferred by the process it is associated with, which in turn is inferred by the run mode of the objects the process is associated with. Looking at this from another angle, it is the object run mode that determines the run mode of the process and in turn the session.

For example, a process with at least one object in Exclusive mode will see it and associated sessions in Exclusive mode as a result.

Thanks Really Appreciate all your answer.

Yes, I guess that is the right understanding. I feel blue prism documents/guides need updates to bring clarity in terms of what the author wants to convey to the audience.
