Issues when importing releases towards app server/db from client

When we are trying to import releases when logged on to our clients that are connected to the application server Blue Prism is not able to finish the import. We can see that we have connection to the application server and database since we can access everything and son on but when importing BP €œfreezes€ and cannot finish the import. We know that it can take some time but even after waiting for like half an hour it still cannot finish. And when we close and try to open again the whole system is no working, we just get a message: €œautomate.exe has stopped wotking€ and then BP terminates. After a while we can log on again without the system crashing. If we import directly on the application server we can finish the import but we need to find a way to be able to import from the clients. Network ports and accesses are double checked and as it€™s supposed. Any tips what to do to get the import working from the clients?

Hi Anna - that shouldn't be happening, so I'd recommend contacting our support desk. That it works on the app server suggests that the 'blockage', or whatever the problem is, is between the client and app server.
