Hi,
We recently imported the MSAL.NET object from the Digital Exchange and completed all the pre-requisites by importing the Utility - Windows Compressed File object and copied across the Microsoft.Client.Identity.dll file the Blue Prism folder.
We're unable to attempt running any of the actions within due to the attached error messages.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions on how to resolve these errors?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you

Hello Gemma Ward so you need to import that DLL also in the Automate folder

Hello Gemma Ward
I tried to recreate this at my end and it is not giving me such error. Wondering what might be wrong here!
Have you tried to remove the DLL from the folder and put it again? Or may be a complete reboot of all the components before trying

Hi Tejaskumar,
Thanks for your message.
We have tried removing the DLL from the folder and putting it back. This didn't resolve the errors.
When we removed it, the errors changed to just 1 which was that it couldn't find the file. So it can definitely see the file.
For total clarity, this is the object we downloaded - https://digitalexchange.blueprism.com/dx/entry/9648/solution/msalnet?_gl=1*1oibfqu*_ga*NzIzNjQ1OTQ1LjE2ODM4MTE3NDM.*_ga_MFBQ2KFZ1L*MTY5MjM2MzQ2My4yNy4xLjE2OTIzNjQxNzUuMjkuMC4w&_ga=2.137285878.75146704...
I can import the latest versions of the Utility objects next week but I don't know what that is going to do to help with these errors.
Can I ask if the Initialise stage has any global code in your object?

Hello Bairro Gemma,
What is the operating system version? 64-bit or 86-bit? Have you tried using it in another environment, did it yield a different result? I've had this error before, but at that time, I was using a 32-bit version of the DLL on a 64-bit system. I needed to compile it correctly.

Hello,
I've sorted the initial errors. Our IT department hadn't installed the correct dll file.
However, I am still unable to use this asset as any action I attempt to run results in the below error:
When I try to run any of the actions, this exception occurs: Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Identity.Client, Version=4.42.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=***REDACTED***' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

Thanks, Tejaskumar.
I saw on another thread that I could change the file location and test the object that way before asking our IT to move the new file. Obviously not!
All sorted
