Open workbook object issue

Dear all, 

Excel "Open workbook" object fails to work at code stage. 

Here is error prompted when the action is executed. 


Can anybody help resolving this issue?

Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

I can show same message in my environment
when I specify word file instead of excel file to open

check your file, really excel file or not

Hi Mitsuko, 

Certainly the action "Open workbook" tries to open an excel file. Also instance was created before this action and tested successfully by passing the handle value to show action. Same handle value was provided to open workbook action as well.

is your xlsx file really excel file, I feel like you should open it
I mean if it is broken, or incorrect extension, etc

File sample.xlsx opens without a problem in excel application when I opened by double clicking the file. Apparently it's not broken and file extension is not incorrect in the blueprism process.
