I am currently in a POC where we are using the POP3/SMTP business object to download attachments from emails using an Outlook account. When I receive PDF attachments from sender A on the windows BP Server and try to open them I receive the following error:
"Acrobat could not open '[name of file]' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."
When I try to open the same attachment on my local machine, I do not get this error.
Furthermore, when I receive PDF attachments from sender B on the windows BP Server and try to open them following the same methodology, they open successfully.
My current idea is that sender B is a known contact and sender A is not so the attachments are not being marked as trusted. Am I correct? Has anyone seen anything similar to this issue? Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you in advance.
