Hi,
I was searching community and help and either I overlooked it or it is not explained anywhere.
What is the exact meaning of the red border around the field in Decipher verification step?
If it is documented somewhere I apologize for this question and just direct me to the place where I can find it.
Thanks.
Regards
Zdenek

Hi Zdenek.
The red border around a field in the data verification step indicates an invalid value.

Hi, Jack,
so Decipher looks at the field data type (Integer, Text, etc.) and based on that and, of course, formulas if the value extracted does not fulfill "all" (not sure what is the all) those parameters the field will be enclosed in red border, right?
Thanks.

Hi Zdenek..
Someone will come along and contradict me but I believe we both have the correct understanding. 🙂

Hi, Neeraj,
nope, we discussed the red border not the red font. I saw that thread and read it through but I could not find the explanation about red border.

Hi All,
The field validation covers Format Expression, Lists (options, static and dynamic lists), Formulas and Required fields. I don't believe it will flag a number in a text field, it will just change the behaviour of how it reads the string.
There's an update in v2.1 which enables the user to be more specific on which validations can be overridden by a user when the field is set as "Soft Validation". Misc Paramaters, second from bottom.
Thanks
