Region Mode on maximised window

Hello there 🙂    I'm trying to use surface automation on a full sized window (I'm opening a PDF with IE). There are two issues with this:   1) Region Mode doesn't work on a maximised window. As of now I'm getting BP to resize the specified window as large as it can instead. But my question is, why can't it be used on a maximised window? 2) Some parts of the page is covered by the "Using the identification tool" (saying that it is in HTML mode, Win 32, AA, etc) pop-up at either corner of the screen. As I'm using "Read text with OCR" to read from the page, this presents to be a problem because the words underneath the pop-up cannot be read. Is there a way to remove the pop-up?   Also, to inform, I've already tried to copy and paste the text with Acrobat Reader, but the words are jumbled up. I assume that this is because the form has been filled using the "Fill and Sign" function in Acrobat Reader. Region mode also doesn't work on Acrobat reader, hence I'm using IE to perform the actions. Hope this is clear enough to anyone who is reading. Thanks!

I'm not sure why you say region mode does not work on a maximised window - I've just tested it and it does. The only annoying thing is the 'Using the Identification Tool' dialog at the top right of the region editor image, but to work around that you just need to identify again with that dialog at the top right so you can identify any regions on the top left.   Hover over the message when using the spy tool and it will shift to the other side of the screen.   As a side note, OCR is not 100% reliable - it never is.  This is not a problem with Blue Prism, it is a problem with all OCR technology that exists. The OCR feature within the Blue Prism product was created for reading text from screens when Font Recognition cannot be used, it was not added into our product with reading documents in mind. If you need to do extensive reading of scanned documents I recommend you speak to your account manager at Blue Prism about Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) tools that will do what you require reliably by having a manual visual validation step in the document parsing process.
