Restart fails on *some* runtime resources

In order to restart my runtime resources every day, I have created a process that simply calls Utility - Environment Plus::Restart Machine to run during my daily maintenance. We recently upgraded to 6.10.3 and created an new environment as part of the upgrade. Since the upgrade 5 of my 15 RRs do not restart when I run this process on them. The other 10 restart as requested.

I realize this may be a Windows issue but I thought I'd ask here if anyone has had the same problem and found a solution.

Hi Steven - the name of that VBO suggests it's something bespoke that the community won't be familiar with. The windows event log may contain clues about the 5, and it may also be useful to temporarily increase the BP logging to help understand what is happening. Do you know where the failure point is?
  • Is the RR closed down?
  • Does Windows log out?
  • Does the machine restart?
  • Does Windows log in again?
  • Does the RR (try to) start after log in?
