Timeout Error

There is a process that we run from the control room (BluePrism ver 6.4) and it fails "ERROR: Internal : The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply..." This is usually happening while reading the queue.

But when the same is debugged from Resource PC (Debug Mode) this error is not thrown and its successfully able to run the process. Can someone explain as to why this should be happening?

Hey CJ,
Long time 🙂

Two things you can do here:
1. Whether the BP service is running on that runtime resource
2. If that's not the case, try this little trick I came saved from a fellow community user a while ago - Try setting the resource to “retired” in „System Manager“ > „Resources“. - starting the startup script results now fairly with the message: Listener failed : Unable to register with the database - Cannot register resource PC xxxx because it has been retired. Now activate the resource again in System Manager and restart the startup script. Afterwards the Scheduler will again be able to connect to the resource PC.
