Update/Renewal License of blue prism

Hi All,

My production BP License is going to expire on 21st Oct 2021. We have received an renewed license key from Blue prism team which is valid from 21st Oct 2021.  If I Install a new license in IC through steps system->license->
will it applicable immediately for all RR's, IC and App server. Or do I need to Install in each and every component of BP.?
Do I need to delete previous license on 21st Oct after installing new one, as both are valid on 21st oct!

If you install it on an IC then it will then be stored in the database and you won't need to do anything else. You don't need to delete the old one as it will expire and the new license will be valid.

You mean just by installing new license on IC will update license for all RR's and App server also?
Do I need to restart the App server and RR's after updating license?

Hi Vinod,

Restart of the blueprism server service in application server will be needed in some 6 versions for the scheduler to work properly after the update. I recommend you to do it if you can afford 2 min of downtime. However  RR restart is not required
