Worker Connection Issue

Hello everyone,

I wanted to bring up an issue we have been facing recently regarding our environment. Our environment has been operational for the past two years without any changes made during this time. However, one of our workers has recently requested credentials to connect to the application server.

I would like to mention that we operate on a domain, and all accounts have been properly configured within the relevant Windows groups. After thorough investigation, I have confirmed that the worker can indeed access the application server both within the server itself and through the designated ports.

Curiously, even when the ports are blocked, I still encounter an error message stating: "System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Either the client credential was invalid or there was an error collecting the client credentials by the SSPI." This situation seems highly unlikely since the connection should be blocked. We have tried various accounts that are configured and confirmed that the credentials are correct.

How can I go about tracing and resolving this issue? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

We are getting an error "the name reference is invalid" when trying to set the SPN. We have used both "BPServer" and "BPserverService". Any thoughts?
