Hi all,
a customer of us has discovered a very strange behaviour with region mode. Maybe you guys are aware of this, I wasn't.
- The Drag and drop capability in region mode is not working properly. Doing the same drag and drop elements causes slight different results; so the result is not accurate.
- Sometimes dragging and dropping an element over a longer distance (by a human worker) only results in a movement of a few centimetres (of the digital worker), if the customer tested this in the debug mode in studio. Has anyone of you heard about a similar issue?
Any explanation or work around are highly appreciated.
Thanks and take care, Michael

I was working with that function recently with 6.6 and I do not have any issue, it possible the resolution change? this will affect the location of the elements. Also, what are they using? a browser? Win32 app? or all is all spy using Region Mode?

Hi Luis,
thanks for your message. The resolution keeps unchanged. The customer has used MS Paint to illustrate the issues. So the application was Win32 app.
Thanks and take care,
Michael.

Hi Nilesh,
thanks for your answer. As far as I can remember the customer has chosen a fixed position based on x- and y-value. Why would it be better to chose position = anywhere for this element?
Thanks, Michael

Hi Michael,
when you are chose position = Anywhere, it will check that element from entire image & if select X and Y with fixed, it will try to find that element on that xy point.
In one of my process i was used fixed x and y , lot of time bot was unable to identify that element and from that time i started use position = Anywhere.
Its working with lot of my project.
Thanks
