Sorry if this idea is duplication of existing idea but we are now going to upgrade to 7.3.2 and noticed again the nice feature of being able to show details of a resource in Control.

It would be great to have at least local FQDN and server FQDN selectable so we can copy the values.

Hi @Walter.Koller,

Thanks for taking the time to raise an idea.

Just so you know, the information that is shown per resource in Control Room is available in a report that can be generated from System > System - Reporting called "Environment Summary". This report lists all client, resources and application servers in the environment and their associated details.

Knowing that this information is available through this report, do you think that you'd like to copy individual resource information from Control Room?

Marking this idea as Needs More Info awaiting your feedback.

Regards,

Rob

Hello @robert.nicklin

Thanks for your reply. As far as I can see about all information in the details window in Control is also available in the Environment Report you were pointing me to. So following your way of thought the details windows wouldn't be needed at all.

Since we got this nice details window, I think we should make the best use of it and support a flow of work like: I need RR info, see the info in Control details window, I can process this info further.

Instead of: I need RR info, see the info in Control details window, go to System/Report, export CSV, open CSV.

I am aware this is a nice-to-have idea and not on the highest prio. There are other features (eg being able to sort or have an already sorted list of user roles in Manage Acces Rights window) that are more useful and are needed more often.

Please let me know if you need more info.

Thanks, Walter

Hi @Walter.Koller,

Thanks for your feedback!

I'm going to set this idea back to New and we'll see how many votes it gathers from the community - that will probably be the determining factor on how high on the enhancement request list this particular items comes.
