Using CDOC, we need the ability to request and resubmit a previously completed communications document using the same recipient block.

Allow Communications to automatically resend the document that was originally sent or mailed to the recipient after XX number of days based on logic that is built within the Process Model.  More importantly, if the original document was edited before being created in Communications (ie. Insert Content) we want those edits to be included in any additional attempts.  Currently, if we try to automate a 2nd delivery of a document, Communications will send the document, but any edits that were made to the original document from the first attempt are not being captured.  (See attached screen shots)

We would like Communications to function like Encorr did in terms of sending a copy of the original document, including any edits that were made.

I agree with this but would like to add to it.  The original letter could be could be retrieved using CDOC in Doc Delivery or the actual work object but we also need the ability to attach a cover sheet.  The best way to do this might be within the Composition screen where we add EnClosures and CC's, add a tab for Reminders that allows to set the time frame, 20, 40. 60 and apply a cover letter as well.  Cover may need to be Conditional to the time frame the letter was sent.

This is important functionality and much needed . Along with it, I would like to add one more point, Spacing in between paragraphs has to be increased propotionally. Many times there is lot of space get's appended, which we can not delete

Feedback requested.   I see two requests

1. Resubmit the delivery of the original item which includes an Audit history of some sort - but not a new piece of content.

2. Construct a new package that includes the concept of a "revised subject line" or a "new cover letter" and results in a new source. where the work needs to manage the most recent CDOC delivered.

For an "Email Reminder", is there any expectation that there is new "content" in the subject line or body to reflect that it is a "second" or "third" notice?

For a "Print Reminder", if you could configure a "Reminder Cover Letter" for the Main Recipient,

  • how would you expect to populate what would be printable address for that recipient which was previously embedded in the original body
  • how would you expect to handle additional recipients (same question)
  • and would you get the desired result if you, for example, you created a new composition for the Reminder letter and "attached" the original source as an enclosure?
