Currently there is no possibility to use Microsoft Edge with Office 365 environment MS Teams. Although a separate application, behaves similarly to a web browser because its framework is built on the Chromium engine, which tightly integrates with Edge. Due to this integration, BP-D blocks interaction with Teams to prevent interference, as Teams uses several web-based functions.
The ideas is to allow using the whole Microsoft environment during the Desktop process running.
