From the Processor tab, the BA WT Status search is part of base functionality.  Currently, the results are not displaying consistently.  Usually the oldest work item is displayed first, but not always.  The problem for my Users is that older work items should be worked first.  When some older items are found lower on the list it may impact SLA.  I created a ticket and was informed the search results are displaying as designed with no order by.  My request is to add a sort option on the results page for ascending or descending in base searches.   May be used for sorting dates, policy #, etc.

Ability to reorder the results in the "Search Results" card comes up as a regular ask in requirements gathering with clients, with ability to switch ordering between "oldest first" and "newest first" being top of the list. So essentially, something like the "Sort By" dropdown available on the "Worklist" card.

Main consideration would be how this would work if the search results displayed are only a subset of the full set of matches - does the filter work just on the items returned, or do the remaining results need to be retrieved from the Chorus server first?

Please clarify, "do the remaining results need to be retrieved from the Chorus server first?"  I would expect all results to be returned and displayed to the User, and on the Search Results page the User will have the new option to order the date of the work items by "oldest first" or "newest first."  (Unless there are more than 1000 items?  I have seen search results limited to only display 1000 items).
