Why did you submit a Community Blueprint?

To demonstrate the exponential gains that process automation can deliver to companies, along with the easy implementation, as many find it to be a complicated task.

Why should other users read Community Blueprints and submit their own?

I believe they should read them to gain different perspectives and insights beyond what they are accustomed to. There are many other ways to do things, and sometimes we only think of doing them in one or two ways that we are already used to, or we are unaware of other methods. There have been several moments when I discovered through the community that there were other ways to perform certain interactions between Blue Prism and legacy systems. The importance of sharing Blueprints lies in this exchange of information.

Is there anything you are excited to do more of within the SS&C Blue Prism Community in 2024?

Yes, definitely. I am excited about studying and implementing Generative AI, and how to implement them satisfactorily in automation processes.

How did you get into an automation career?

I entered the automation career in January 2019, when it was just starting to gain traction in Brazil. At that time, I was only familiar with Selenium and had no knowledge of Blue Prism and other market players. It was a bit obscure at the beginning due to the lack of information compared to today. I remember having an in-person training in Recife with Carlos Martins for an entire week, and after that training, it was possible to scale automation to achieve best development practices and implementations.

Tell us a professional achievement you are proud of.

One of the achievements I am proud of is being part of three awards. The first two are the most important in my career:

Do you do anything to make working from home fun?

I have three Siberian Huskies (Luna, Sirius Black, and Aslam). I enjoy taking them for a walk in the morning before work and after work. During breaks, I usually go to the gym for weight training.

What do you find useful when you are stuck on something at work?

Whenever I face a block, I usually take a break to have a snack and clear my mind, then return to my activities. If I still feel blocked, I discuss my doubts with colleagues, and if I still can't resolve it, I turn to the Blue Prism community.

Are there any future automations you are looking to do?

Automations focused on Generative AI integration.

What career advice would you give to yourself at the start of your career if you could?

Focus 100% on learning programming logic and implementing best development practices.

Tell the community something about yourself you don't think they will know!

I am a hobbyist musician. I play the guitar, bass, and drums, and I find joy in music.

Thank you, Wagner!

For your invaluable contributions and unwavering dedication to our community, we look forward to seeing more from you in 2024!
