We’re pleased to announce the latest updates across our platform, including a patch release for SS&C | Blue Prism Enterprise and a new release for SS&C | Blue Prism Desktop.
This new patch resolves several issues reported in Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4, ensuring greater stability and performance, as well as introducing improvements to enable the use of our new Powered by Next Gen Automation Orchestrator capability, expected to be made available in June 2025. Meanwhile, this new release of Blue Prism Desktop extends attended automation capabilities and deployment options, empowering your attended automation teams with updated digital workers for the best possible outcome.
Some highlights of these updates include:
SS&C | Blue Prism® Enterprise 7.4.1
- Users can now opt to “prelaunch” browsers during automations, which ensures that the browser is open and the Blue Prism browser extension is fully loaded before navigating to a target web application.
- Performance in Control Room has been improved when working in environments with large numbers of schedules.
- Exporting data from a collection in which the fields had been reordered now exports data according to the new field order rather than the original order.
- The stage formatting toolbar in Design Studio is now visible to users again after being incorrectly hidden in Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4.
For more information, see Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4 known issues.
SS&C | Blue Prism® Desktop 1.3
- A 64-bit client is now available for Blue Prism Desktop, enabling access to more memory for complex automations.
- SOAP Web Services are now supported for use with Blue Prism Desktop, broadening the scope of external systems that can be used in attended automations.
