Application Modeller - Spying Hotkey

I've run into elements, such as combo boxes, that disappear if I click on the Highlight button in the Application Modeller. This makes them difficult to highlight to ensure that they were spied correctly, as the Application Modeller says that it was unable to find the element because it disappears when I click on Highlight.

I would appreciate a hotkey that allows me to activate the Highlight button (or the underlying functionality) without having to click on it. If I could expand the combo box, then press the hotkey on the keyboard, it would allow me to keep that menu displayed, thus allowing me to verify that the element is spied correctly.

You've got some great ideas today, Tracy! And of course I have an addition to the suggestion. Let me know if you agree.

I think the Highlight functionality ought to work similar to how the Snipping Tool does where you can configure a delay. So, you input 3 seconds or whatever, click Highlight, then go to the app and click a button or two, and then when the 3 seconds is up app modeller starts trying to highlight the element.

I currently do this by configuring an element in app modeller, closing app modeller, and setting up a wait stage followed by a navigate stage set to Verify (with Highlight set to True). I click Run. And while the wait stage is waiting, I click the necessary buttons manually in the app to bring up the temporary/contextual menu or dropdown or whatever. By the time the wait stage is over, I've brought up the element and then app modeller highlights it.

Yeah, it seems like either method would work. Relying on the Highlight button and finding workarounds (like yours, which I am stealing) to get around clicking it is inconvenient.
