Hi All,
Has anybody tried installing BP version 7 in an enterprise?
Can anyone confirm if hub installation needs to happen on Application server or new server is required?

Hi Ritansh,
It really depends on the nature of the environment.
Frankly nothing would prevent you from installing all components on a single machine, including Hub, especially if such environment is only used for trial or testing. That being said, I would recommend you provision a dedicated server to host Hub in production like circumstances so you will have more flexibility in scaling it later on if it is required. In an environment with multiple existing application servers (and load balancer), you would better off provision a dedicated server to host Hub to keep them separate.
Functionally, Hub is going to be used as a real "hub" in connecting various Blue Prism components together, e.g. Interact, Decipher IDP and so on so it will have a very different usage pattern than Blue Prism App Server. Having it on a its own server only makes more sense.
Also to add, in addition to Hub, there are other components to consider as well as part of the v7 offering, RabbitMQ service, BP API service and so on. While it is all possible to have them on a single machine, careful considerations are needed to ensure each component is scalable in the long run based on the expected usage.
Hope it helps.
