Blue Prism and Data Sources and APIs

Hi, Is there a way for Blue Prism to connect with external data sources or APIs? Can Blue Prism leverage standard APIs (i.e., ODBC or jQuery)? For example, we'd like to extract data from a SQL server DB to use as reference data to drive business rules. Alternatively what if we want to inject data into a SQL server DB as part of an automation process?

Hi, All possible. You'll need relevant drivers loaded on each robot, then build a simple database object with CRUD actions, each a wrapper for code block using .net to run ODBC commands

Hi Will, I am trying on integration ASEOLEDB for Sybase on Windows 10 and am failing there... BP tells me that it's not in their scope... I will need to create a new VBO using ODBC to connect to Sybase using a user / system DSN... Do you have any samples for me to build upon?   Thanks in advance Jitesh Sampat
