Deleting a schedule after clicking Run now from scheduler

Hi, I have a scheduler created. When we click Run Now on it from IST time zone machine, it schedules it to run 12 hours later as server is in USA time zone hence 12 hour behind.

This behavior is bit weird as ideally run now should trigger the scheduler to run at that moment even if server and VM is on different time zone.
Secondly its its scheduled for 12 hours later by clicking Run Now, I was not able to find option to remove that particular instance of schedule.

If you're asking how to remove the instance that you created by clicking Run Now, there's no direct way to do that. I suppose if you deleted the schedule itself and recreated, then that would effectively make the instance not run 12 hours later because the schedule wouldn't exist anymore and thus Blue Prism would have no tasks to run. The other way would be to manipulate the database records directly which isn't encouraged.

The suggested way to get around that is to have access to a remote machine that is set to the same time zone as the server so that the Run Now feature works as expected. I suppose another way is to, instead of using Run Now, you probably could set the schedule to run once and set the datetime to 12 hours in the past, and when you save it, that should effectively do the same thing as Run Now. Fun times. 😃 We could write a book about workarounds.

That issue has been annoying for quite a while. Blue Prism is definitely aware of it, and I believe they attempted a fix in 6.7/6.8 or so but then I think they reverted it. Anyway, they'll prolly fix that eventually.

My question is somehow related to schedules and 'run now'.

Is it even possible to see if a schedule is going to be executed.
For example if one resource is busy or still offline but I initiate 'run now' then I don't know if the schedule is going to be executed, still waiting for the resource (until the schedule runs into timeout) or maybe I didn't pay attention and clicked somewhere else.

Although I am not going to alter DB tables, I would be very interested if someone can provide SQL statements to query the status of schedules.
