Environment variables and Exception Types appear twice in settings

Can anyone tell me why the Environment Variables list and list of Exception Types is shown twice in settings: once under Processes and once under Objects, despite being the same lists shown in both locations?

At first I thought they might be separate lists, allowing for control over Environment variables visible to objects vs those that are available to processes, but any change made in one of the environment variable lists (either under process or object) is then shown immediately in the other list, leading me to conclude that it's the same list being shown in both locations. The same goes for the list of Exception Types.

I don't see the benefit or purpose of the two locations for the lists. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Yes both are one and the same.

Hi Felix - yes they are the same list and it was a UI design choice. I don't like it either!
