Dear BP community,
Currently we have a weekly robot process, which interacts with an Excel workbook located on a SharePoint website (the file is both used by the robot and a human co-worker. These however never work in the file at the same moment).
To interact with the Excel file, we make the robot map the SharePoint website as a network drive at the start of every robotrun (first disconnect the network drive and thereafter remap it). This way of working has allowed the robot to work with the shared Excel workbook without any issues for several months.
However, we currenlty have had several issues with changes not being saved successfully and a warning on the Save As action (we had to reboot the robot resouce to get it available again). When looking at the screen captures (see attached), we see that the Excel file is displaying the error messeage: Refresh Recommended and the file is opened as a read only. Furthermore looking at the last save date of the Excel file, it seem that the robot indeed is viewing an old version of the workbook.
My question therefore is, is there a way for the robot to trigger Excel or SharePoint to update the file, so it is viewing the most recent version of the file?
