Hi Terry,

We don't have access to our competitors products to perform side by side comparisons and there are a few areas to consider when comparing solutions. Is there a particular area of interest or use case you have in mind?

Some of the key strengths of Decipher are as follows:
- Single configuration for document layouts of the same type (e.g. 1 configuration for invoices from multiple vendors)
- Data validation features to prevent incorrect data being processed
- Direct integration with Blue Prism
- Included with most tiers of Blue Prism license, with 10,000 pages per digital worker, per month
- Can be configured to capture key information without training (where document is of good quality and clearly labelled)
- Can be trained to recognise different document types and extract the respective key information

Thanks

Hi, Ben,

are you sure that there is a limit 10.000 pages per month per digital worker? I thought that the volume limits were removed.

Thanks for clarification.

Regards

Hi Zdenek,

The usage limits are still in place under the fair usage policy.

Thanks

Hi Ben,

We were one of the first to implement Decipher for semi-structured forms, including invoices. Decipher had some learning challenges initially that were overcome by new releases of Decipher. We looked at Hyperscience at the time and didn't see a significant improvement.  We now have customers with mortgage related documents which are many more pages and less structured than invoices. Hyperscience claims to be able to easily extract data from these types of documents and goes into some detail regarding their mortgage processing successes. Do you have experience with mortgage type successes with Decipher?

Thank you.

Cheers!

Terry

Hi Terry,

I've tested Decipher with unstructured documents such as software contracts and tenancy (lease) agreements, following the update in v1.2 last year.

Since that version Decipher has supported unstructured documents through NLP. This requires a GPU and an additional component to be installed.

Please reach out to your account manager and we can arrange a demo, feel free to give them my name as I have access to a machine with a GPU.

Thanks

Hi Ben,

I copied you on the email to our account manager.

I don't see handwriting recognition on the Decipher roadmap. It was there previously. Are there any plans to incorporate handwriting recognition?

Thank you.

Cheers!

Terry

Hi Terry,

It's certainly still something we're interested in delivering, though we've had a look a different ways we can achieve it. Until we've got some firm details, we're holding off on giving a date.

It may be as soon as the version after next, with the current version being 2.1, that would be 2.3.

Thanks
