Hi @all,
Have someone of you made some experiences connecting runtime resources torwards the application server with a effective latency about 200-240 milliseconds?
Is that a suitable way - or causing a lot of trouble/connection losses?
My intuitive feeling tells me, that is is a way to high latency to run bots in a stable manner.
any experiences?
thank you,
best regards
Tobias

Hello Tobias
The 200-240 ms latency is way too much. You may observe frequent timeouts and slowness is process execution.
I would suggest you to go through the following KB article for more info:
What is the maximum recommended latency level?

You are correct in that being too high of a latency. Have you investigated the causes of that kind of latency? Can you get your runtime resource closer to the applications server (Same local network) and just remote into it?

thank you @KaranSareen , i searched before but i didnt found something about latency (shame on me!!)
@ChrisEllenburg_ currently we have our app-servers sinde the local network, but were looking for some alternative hosting opportunities inside our company. So for me now, this one of some possible choices is dead.
thank you for your hints!
