SAP Freezing

Hi All

Just wondering if someone will be able to guide me in the right direction
We have a process that interacts with SAP.
The process post Journal into SAP using the following TCodes ZFI_I004 for AX(Accrual journal) and ZFI_I001 for SX(Reallocation Journals) and the we also post SKF Journals(Stat journals) using ZFI_E004
The process runs smoothly processing the AX and SX journals in SAP and the it will Kill the "saplogon" in the background and continue to next Item.
As soon as we receive and SKF journal to be processed using ZFI_E004 the processes will post the SKF journal and as it goes to the next stage it will freeze and the processes just hangs. Usually on the Kill Processes1 stage and sometimes it goes past but just freezes at the next stage.
Looks like Connection issue but no idea where to start.

Thanks

Hi, Willem,

I do not understand why you kill saplogon after each item. This is not necessary you can avoid launching SAP again and again and avoid 25s sleeps which I see in your process. May be too many SAP starts/kill cycles is causing that after several items SAP client just hangs?

Can you explain that start/kill/start sequence? Why did you design it that way?

Regards,

Zdenek
