I do not understand why you kill saplogon after each item. This is not necessary you can avoid launching SAP again and again and avoid 25s sleeps which I see in your process. May be too many SAP starts/kill cycles is causing that after several items SAP client just hangs?
Can you explain that start/kill/start sequence? Why did you design it that way?
