Unable to launch IBM Personal Communicator in Citrix environment

Helllo All, we are trying to launch IBM Personal Communicator v6.0 in citrix environment (Blue prism is also in citrix ). We have tried launching application as : IBM Personal Communicator (Com API), IBM Personal Communicator (HLLAPI) . In COM API mode we have given *.ws file as session file . But in two modes, we are getting following errors. IBM Personal Communicator (COM API) : Error - Failed to launch application - Launch failed: Error from ConnectToHostOrSession: Can not create ActiveX component. IBM Personal Communicator (HLLAPI) : Error - Failed to launch application - Launch failed: Terminal Emulation - Could not load the dll - PCSHLL32.DLL Errors are attatched. Do anyone know what we are missing here ? Please suggest if there are other ways to launch. Thanks, Prasanna Kumar.

Hi Prasanna, The issue here is that the mainframe application in Citrix is not local to the machine which is running the automation. Blue Prism is trying to make calls to a local PCOM process, but it is not running on the local machine. This is why you are unable to locate the DLL file, and also unable to activate the COM object (ActiveX component). The way to automate such an application is to either reconfigure the application package to include the missing COM DLL so that Blue Prism can integrate with it locally or to use Surface Automation techniques.
