Hi Neha,

Key names are significantly used for tracking down items as  we can't see queue item data in the Queue Management section, so in order to identify any work item we can specify one of the unique column or an identifier column to indicate the item properly in the Queue Management section.

Moreover, key names help us to avoid adding duplicate items by using 'Check Item In Queue' action by using the Key Name parameter. In order to check if the item is available, the Key Name value of the collection is checked to be present in any of the queue item and based on the flag that gets returned we can choose if we need to add the item or skip the iteration in the workflow.

Key Name Filter can also be used to filter out items in 'Get Next Item' action in order to work on any specific type of item if we want to. This filter is used to pick up the items based on the key names that we provide.
