This year at Blue Prism World we hosted four virtual Challenges in which Global teams worked to automate some key use cases within Blue Prism. The Challenges were extremely popular and registration had to be closed early as all spots were filled!
Login Agent: this Blue Prism Cloud team challenge was to build a Login Agent. Companies using automation tend to have an out of the box way to interact with Windows Login but they do not have a built solution that will take care of logging in and/or identifying steps to get logged in.
The challenge was to build a solution to the login issue that is capable of identifying what condition the computer is in. It should identify whether the computer is already logged in, locked, or logged out. If not already logged in, the Login Agent automation will complete an automated login process.
The challenge was evaluated against three high-level parameters:
- Did the team solve the problem
- Was the architecture designed to be scalable and reusable
- Were the best practice development guidelines followed
There was a very high standard across all the teams who participated in this challenge, and competition for the top-spot across the teams was tough. Our winning team was FourNxt, @Thesni__Nazeer, @Ajithkumar K R, @SabinRavi, Pradeep Viswanathan, @Abhijith Raj who not only delivered a highly scalable architecture, they also applied a very creative design to produce a set of code that was easy to read and interpret.
