Blue Prism RPA not running on my gaming laptop

Greetings,

I'm having a problem getting Blue Prism RPA to run on my gaming laptop [https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/d/gaming-laptops/]. I've installed the software and followed all the setup instructions, but every time I try to launch it, I get an error message saying "Blue Prism RPA has stopped working".

I've tried reinstalling the software and updating all my drivers, but the issue persists. I've also tried running the software in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and 8, but that didn't work either.

I'm running Windows 10 on my gaming laptop, and all my other applications are working fine. I'm not sure what the problem could be. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions for a solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Judy,

Thank you for being a Blue Prism user and for trying to use Blue Prism. I am sorry you are having problems.

Can we clarify the following please?

What is your version of Windows 10, I looked at the specs of your laptop and they certainly seem to have the power but I wanted to be sure what version you have. You can take a look at this page https://bpdocs.blueprism.com/en-us/supported-software.htm and it tells you what versions of windows are supported. My concern was that you may have a 'home' edition but I don't think your range are even offered with that version of Windows.

Finally, what version of Blue Prism are you trying to use?
