Hi Swati,
Once you update Blue Prism to v7.0, your database will be upgraded and once it has been upgraded, you won't be able to downgrade it. Keeping this fact in mind, I would first suggest you to create a backup of your production database as a part of a contingency plan in case you would need to downgrade in future if things do not work your way.
Also, do keep a backup release of your processes and the related artifact's as well comprising of your objects, credentials, environment variables etc.
When you will upgrade to v7.0, a new license file will be required altogether which you won't be compatible any of the version 6 releases as v.7 introduced a lot of new features such as REST services, Hub platform which can be used to connect all the new products that Blue Prism has released till date.
