BluePrism VS Pega Automation

Dear Team,

Not sure this is the right place to post this query.
We are currently evaluating RPA tools for our organization, and would like to know the comparison between BP VS Pega or how BP is better than PEGA automation.

My team and I recommend Blue Prism but need justification to convince other teams and management.
Appreciate if someone can advise or respond.

I have worked with various RPA vendors in diffrent companys. Where BluePrism shines in my experience is in testing, debugging and exceptionshandling. The ability to change and manipulate data while the process is running in debug-mode, and the ease of generating meaningfull exceptions with the use of blocks is the main reasons why I prefer BluePrism.

There are minor reasons aswell, such as the flow view, but what is mentioned above is what makes development fast, safe and easy in the long run.

Hi Lakshmiganesh.

Just adding a point that we at BluePrism like to emphasize is that the product has been developed from the ground-up to be enterprise-grade and secure whereas many of the other RPA products started out as desktop automation tools and then were retrofitted into something they call enterprise-grade.

There are many positives to the use of Blue Prism, but I'd list a couple that, in my opinion, weigh the most heavily.

1. Easy to understand workflows, be it your own or someone else's.
2. Drag and drop activities to start building.
3. No coding knowledge is required to start with Blue Prism. Of course, coding knowledge is a plus point but unlike other RPA tools, I guarantee you that Blue Prism you can use without any programming knowledge.
4. Also you should check other Blue Prism in-house products that support RPA lifecycles. RPA is not just development but many other aspects.
5. Even a simple google search would return you multiple solutions to any of your queries.
6. Powerful yet so simple exception handling mechanism.
7. Last but not least is the support you get on the Blue Prism Community(like this post) whenever you are stuck just raise a post and you will find multiple answers popping up within some minutes to hours. And at the end, Blue prism customer support is always there if your queries are still unresolved.

LMK if you need more points. I'll be happy to share my knowledge further.
