Can't find Notepad business object

Hi, I can't find Notepad VBO. "I checked C:\Program Files\Blue Prism Limited\Blue Prism Automate\VBO". Any help with this? I am using Blue Prism 7.2.0.

Hi Emeka,

The "Notepad VBO" is part of Blue Prism University's product induction training and it should be included as part of a .bprelease file in the training package (something like "Foundation Training Setup.bprelease"). You can use 'File -> Import' to import the release, then find the Notepad business object in the Studio.

If you're using Blue Prism Enterprise (and not the Training Edition), there is not a Notepad VBO included as part of the standard VBOs that ship with the product.

If you're on to Blue Prism 7.2.0 Enterprise already, it's probably better to use the Utility - File Management actions to generate text files, or read from text files. 

Do you have a specific use case for needing the Notepad VBO?
