Sharing the application model

"Share the application model of another object" in the Application Modeller Wizard doesn't work because of "parent object" list is empty, although I have a few other business objects with defined application models. Is there anything I need to do beforehand? Is sharing the application model along with multi-object design a good practice at all?

You have to enable sharing in the parent object first - the checkbox is in the details stage on the Initialise page..

It is recommended only if you are using the same spied elements in multiple objects, otherwise it is not necessary.
