Remember User GUI Settings

Currently everything resets whenever your close a window or navigate around in Blue Prism.

It would be great if windows remembered what I resized them to. It would be great if folders remembered which ones I had expanded and which ones I had collapsed. It would be great if the session log remembered which columns I had added and how much space I had given each one.
You probably get the idea 🙂

It would be great if Blue Prism, on a per user basis, remembers our user interface settings, so we don't have to spend time constantly adjusting to our preferences.

I think, in lower versions, 6.2 it is always in collapse and whenever required, we used to expand but in 6.7 it is always expanded

Hello @JesperHededam1 (and those who are watching this thread),

With this idea being quite old and having been in planned for a considerable amount of time, it's quite hard to determine what would constitute the bounds of this idea are to mark it as delivered.

Since this idea was first raised, we have introduced the following enhancements:

• Remembered folder states in the Studio tab (the expanded/collapsed process folders carry through into Control Room)
• Remembered panel sizes in the Studio tab
• Remembered folder states in Control Room (Available Process folder states carry through into Studio)
• Remembered menu state in Control Room (which nodes are expanded/collapsed in the left hand navigation panel)
• Remembered panel sizes in Control Room
• Automatically adjusting session log column sizes when maximizing the session log window in Control Room

Given the amount of changes that have been made, I'm tempted to mark this idea as Delivered and ask that users who have outstanding requests for additional areas of the GUI to maintain revised size capture these as new ideas so we can accurately track interest and specific requirements in new items.
