To open document from windows application

Hi,
I need to open a document from windows based  application, i can able open using AA mode in local machine but not in VDI/VM.

Insimple i need to double click on document icon to open a document in application.
 
Please suggest if you have any idea.Do we need to change any settings?

Hi Murali,

It should work in the VM as well. Any specific error that you are getting? Alternatively region mode can be used as well.
