Attach iexplore window

Hi all,
i'm using a queue taken from DB to process a series of reports.
As for the BP templates i've the "process section" where I do all the operations and if everything went well I proceed to the next. 
The first thing I do when I get back into the process is to check if the page is still open and process the next report, otherwise reopen iexplore. 
The name of each window is the report number, is a good practice to check if the number of reports just processed attach it and work the next one, otherwise kill the internet and start from scratch?
other suggestions?

With these types of scenarios I tend to use the choice function as well as check the file folder to find which files have already been downloaded. This lets me start by downloading the files still waiting to be downloaded and ignore the ones already downloaded. This also means the process will start where it left off if it fails.
