Issues with mapping input field

jbholten

I have trouble writing text to an input Field. The mapping seems ok, but when we are testing the Write functionality, we get this error Message:
"No window identifiers were specified". We have tried all the different identifying modes, some are kind of working, some not, but when we try to Write a value, the error Message appears.

The Application is a win 32 Application.

Best regards

Is it possible one of the match attributes was set to dynamic, and that no parameters were set in the stage?

Hi, and thank you for the suggestion. It was a "noob" error: We had not activated the window we were trying to send input to. We found two possible solutions:
1. Map the window (Identify the window in Win32 mode) and then send a click to the window. (Did not use this solution)
2. Activate the window from the "main application". We found out that the window was opened, but minimized. When we opened the window with a button (or keyboard shortcut) The window then opens. ( We used this solution).

Best regards
