Seeing Sent Mails in Outlook

Hi, we use the Email - POP3/SMPT, we can not see the mails sent by the bot. Is this normal, and what is the reason? Can we change it? Thank you in advance.

hello Stephanie Strydom - I don't think you will get those mail in sent item as it is using SMTP server/layers to send mail not outlook client.

HI Stephanie Strydom - you can try using Outlook VBO and action - "Send Email"  instead of Email -pop/SMPT VBO.

Morning Stephanie

We also use SMTP for all of our email needs (Utility - BPC - SMTP Mail Management) and our theory why none of these appear in the Outlook sent box is that Outlook only knows about what it has sent (either via desktop app or webmail or an app on your phone) but not about anything sent using those email credentials using any other mechanism.  So, when SMTP is used, it bypasses all of the MS Outlook infrastructure and so even if you "send/receive all" on Outlook they won't appear.

If you need to see them, then you can add the email address that is using SMTP to your "To Email Address" effectively cc'ing them to itself.  You can then add a filter to Outlook to file these away in the appropriate (Sent Items?) folder.

Hope this helps

Brgds
